Well it looks like we're going to be at this for a while (at least until April 30th) so hopefully we're starting to get the hang of this whole online learning thing. I've heard from most of you but if I haven't, reach out and say "Hi" either thru email, Remind, or Google Classroom. I've been updating my website as we go, you can browse the tab labeled US History > Topics. This week we're ending our Civil Rights Movement Unit and starting a new unit on the Vietnam War. You can find out what's expected this week online below. Sometimes you take things for granted and like much of you, I really miss seeing y'all at school and being around you. I'm going through teaching withdrawals right now, I miss you guys more than. you know. Hopefully everyone is up and running online but for those of you who are struggling, no worries . . . we'll tackle this thing together. There will never be points taken off for work handed in after the due date, I just want you to show me that you know the content. You can always re-do an assignment or quiz, just give me a heads up when you've done that so I can enter in your best score.

Alright guys, here's the scoop for this week. I've listed what I'd like you to do online and in Google Classroom. Each day I'll be checking the assignments that are turned in and inputing the scores into Skyward so you should be able to see what you've done and what still needs to be done. Each week I'll update my website & Google Classroom with info and instructions that will help you understand what to do. I will also be recording a few lectures on the material that we're covering so it'll somewhat be like class minus me clowning on students.
Hey y’all, these are some crazy times we’re living in, this is the kind of stuff students will be reading about in their textbooks 20 years from now! While we’re all trying to figure this online stuff out know that I’m thinking of y’all and if you need any help at all please let me know. I’ll be using this website and Google Classroom for assignments (like I normally do) so together we’ll all figure this out together. The best way to contact me is via the Remind text. Again, please reach out if you have questions or need help. Much love ❤️, Herrud.
