Take a look at what you guys are doing to today . . . it's a bit of a choose your own adventure day. Bring your books.
I'm sick again . . . hopefully this is just the flu and nothing too major like last time. Use your books to complete the answers and then use Google and your books to answer the crossword puzzle on the back. Use a separate sheet of paper to answer the questions and then staple them to the assignment.
If you've got questions hit me up . . . have a good weekend and make sure you grab your new and improved Daily Notebooks and copy down Day 4 of Term 3! Many of you said that you'd be down for a test review . . . so grab your lunches and head into my room tomorrow (Tuesday) for a quick review/cram session. I'll go over the test material without giving you questions and answers that should help ya'll ace this bugger. So tomorrow . . . lunch . . . my room . . . BE THERE!
Test for all my US History students will be given this Wednesday, January 18th. Take a look at the review and make sure you're prepared. Any questions hit me up!
Things that are changing this term . . .
1. Only 3 items are allowed to be turned in late this term . . . so use them wisely. 2. You will be responsible for reading assignments in your book this term, I'll let you know what your schedule is each day. 3. Test corrections will only get you 1/2 the points that you've missed on your exam. For example, if you get an 80%, the best you can get is a 90% (20 % x .5). You'll still have to rework the questions you've missed and show mastery of those concepts. Since I'm not at school today (Monday, January 9th) check out your assignment below and make sure you bring your books to class because you'll be using them.
Conditioning Class: last day so clean out your lockers (if you have them) and keep your locks, I'll get them for you later. I'd rather be at school but I'll be chillin' with the doctors as they try to figure out why the left side of my face as ballooned up . . . I'm guessing it's because my brain is so big that it's putting pressure on my face. I'll keep you updated . . . Students will need to hand in their notebooks for Term 2 by this Friday, January 6th. Anything after that won't be accepted so make sure you get it in by the end of school on Friday. Take a look at the rubric below so you'll know what you should have in your notebook. You'll notice that some items are crossed out . . . which means that you won't need to have anything down for those items. If a day isn't listed, that means we didn't use our notebooks for that day.
Contact me if you've got any questions at [email protected] or send me a text. Homework for History w/Herrud for Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017.
