Today we're talking about what the situation was in the United States after WWI, primarily during 1919. There were a number of issues that came to light: inflation, strikes, racial tension, and Bolshevism.
- Students will explain the causes for U.S. involvement in World War I and the effects of the war on the home front, such as migration, trade, sedition act, shortages, voluntary rationing, and the Spanish flu. (US II 3.4)
